Last summer a limited series prequel to the 2001 comedy Wet Hot American Summer, which was set on the last day of summer camp in 1981, arrived on Netflix titled Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp. The joke being that all of the actors who appeared in the original would be 15 years older despite the show taking place earlier. Now another eight-episode season is officially on the way, this time a sequel.
In the original movie, there's a scene in which the camp attendees agree to meet back there a decade later to catch up. It took 16 years to get to it, but fans will finally be able to see how that meeting went down. Netflix has confirmed that Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later will arrive in 2017.
